After a quick preview on the last post we wrote, the artwork it self can be enjoyed at the temporary site. Playscope is a plaything artwork upon a landscape, it contain a lot of visual language that arrange into an outdoor installation. Playscope showed you a continues artwork from budi adi nugroho from a serial artwork under title “you see it, you don’t” this time the artist showed us #7 from it series.”you see it, you don’t #7” are built from three simply form that hanged on a steel wire in more 10 meter above the ground, placed on natural environment with an endangered environment at the background.

The form can be recognized as a abstraction from some children comic or movie character ( nemo and jill from “finding nemo” and Barney from “barney?!”). Painted in silver at the front, it can reflect any light source on it, and white at the back; show you the meaning of the artwork is depends where you stand at. From a natural environment you can see the silver part; reflecting the endangered background. From the other part you can see the white paint as a foreground of a natural environment. On approximately weight each form between 100 kg until 30 kg (total more than 200 kg) and 45 meter widely, it become the largest sculpture that the artist ever made.

Playscope were planned to be reviews by a number of a writer, but as far as we walk the process it seems more complex than imagine. We’ll try to show the reviews on the next post, but for now..we gonna give you the map and a documentation about the artwork on it site. Enjoy and you were please to come.
